The Mountain Heart Hospital is located in Hetauda, which is located at a 5 hours’ treacherous drive away from the capital Kathmandu. The hospital is aimed to provide primary healthcare to almost 10,000 patients every year. With the support from Direct Relief, the hospital was built after the need for a basic but comprehensive health service became apparent as most of the hospitals are located in Kathmandu.
