August 2026 flood response · Rasuwa and Nuwakot
When floods cut off communities in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, we mobilised medical teams to help people reach care. Our teams used medical packs positioned ahead of the emergency, with an emergency operating grant from Direct Relief supporting the response.
Damaged roads and bridges make getting people and supplies to the right place a vital part of medical relief. Our work brings together clinical skills, local knowledge and practical support to reach communities whose access to care has been disrupted.
