Medical camp at Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur following the earthquake in 2015

Kathmandu

Mountain Heart Nepal (MHN) supported disabled welfare society of Nepal for conducting seven day long medical camp which treated over 1800 familes (7144 people) living in temporary camps in Chuchepati, kathmandu. The clinic was jointly supported by various organizations working in earthquake relief operations.

Bhaktapur

MHN medical volunteers provided free medical treatment and advice for the people of Dekocha, Bhaktapur on May 19, 2015. We also collected medical data to help gain better understanding of the most common health issues in the area which will form the basis of our future programs.

Lalitpur

Due to geographical challenges, reaching Thula Dhurlung in Lalitpur had never been easy. Our vehicle only helped us to cover half the distance peacefully, and the other half was tracheously challenging. Therefore, there was no other option than pushing our vehicle to our destination. Despite all the challenges, we successfully treated about 250 people living in very isolated area of the country.
