Preventive Health Camp- Inaruwa

About the program
This program is a continuation of our outreach preventive health camp supported by Direct Relief. The mobile outreach camp will be conducted in the rural villages of the Sunsari district (Inaruwa municipality ward no 8 and ward no 3 on 5th and 6th of October respectively). The attendees of the camp will be screened for common health conditions and treated for acute infections. Those illnesses requiring tertiary care will be referred to the tertiary hospital.
The show up is estimated to be above 600 people. Three doctors from Mountain Heart Nepal and two nurses along with two doctors and three nurses from Inaruwa Hospital will join the team to provide free consultation and prescription refills to the patients. Besides, there will be the distribution of hygiene kits to the residents and targeted population along with delivering essential medications and medical equipment to the Inaruwa Hospital. The supplies were received from Direct Relief on September 27, 2018.
The camp was scheduled at this place because of the recent news over the media concerning the high patient flow in the hospital especially after heavy monsoon and shortage of doctors.
