FAQ

Who are we?

We are Mountain Heart Nepal, a Nepali nonprofit founded by medical professionals in response to the 2015 earthquake. Our work connects emergency response with longer-term access to health care. Read our story.

What do we do?

We work in disaster response, community outreach, rural hospital care, research and learning. Explore our work.

Where can I find our registration details?

Our DAO, PAN and Social Welfare Council details appear in the website footer. Contact us if you need documentation for a partnership or other official purpose.

How can I volunteer with MHN?

Use our volunteer enquiry form to tell us about your skills, qualifications and availability. We review enquiries against programme needs before agreeing a role.

How can I enquire about a placement?

Use our placement enquiry form. Please confirm availability, supervision, costs and practical arrangements with us before booking travel or making a payment.

Can an organisation join our network?

Yes. Apply for organisation membership with information about your work, team specialities, resources and two references. Our team reviews applications before approval.

Do I have to be a member to request support?

No. Membership is optional, but MHN must approve your organisation for portal access first. Apply once; after approval, we provide a username and temporary password. Change that password at first sign-in, then request available materials or other support under an active programme. Each request is reviewed separately and depends on availability.

How can I follow the use of resources?

Our distribution register shows recorded dispatches and receipt confirmations by programme. Available stock updates when staff record stock movements.

Where should I arrange a delivery?

Please contact us before sending or collecting supplies. Our registered address and current storage facility are listed separately because temporary storage may change.

How do we use information submitted online?

We use it to respond to enquiries, review applications and coordinate support. Personal application and reference details are kept out of public distribution records. Read how we use your information.
